Bhajneet Kaur is a dedicated and accomplished optometrist, blending her passion for vision care with a foundation in psychology. Raised in Toronto, Canada, Bhajneet pursued her undergraduate studies at York University, where she delved into the complexities of the human mind and behavior. Her interest in psychology not only shaped her understanding of patient needs but also influenced her approach to optometry.
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the field of vision health, Bhajneet ventured to Puerto Rico to attend optometry school. There, she gained a diverse and comprehensive education, honing her skills in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions. The unique cultural and educational experience in Puerto Rico enriched her perspective, equipping her with the ability to cater to a wide range of patients with different backgrounds and needs.
Now based in Queens, NY, Bhajneet has established herself as a compassionate and detail-oriented optometrist. Her background in psychology uniquely positions her to understand the interconnectedness between mental health and vision, allowing her to provide holistic care to her patients. Dr. Jennifer Nguyen
was born and raised in Houston, Texas before heading to New York. She graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology and received her Doctorate of Optometry from The University of Houston College of Optometry in 2016. Dr. Nguyen offers services for routine eye exams, contact lens fitting, and LASIK/cataract evaluations. When not working, Dr. Nguyen enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband and going on walks with her sweet Plott Hound, Martini!

Amanpreet Kaur
is our dynamic office manager and technician at Astoria Vision. She helps you with booking appointments, performs all of the preliminary testing prior to seeing the doctor, and can also teach you how to insert/remove and care for your contact lenses. She’s the backbone of the office! She can answer any questions you may have about our practice, services, and insurances. When not helping our wonderful patients, Aman enjoys spending time with family and friends, and traveling to new places. She looks forward to seeing you for your upcoming appointment!
